Dr. Hyunjoo Lee is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor, Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta and British Columbia. She completed her TCM practitioner program from Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Having had her grandmother specialize in acupuncture in Korea, Dr. Lee grew up in a holistic-centred environment, from which she earned her passion for Eastern medicine.
She is specialized in pain management due to injuries. Dr. Lee incorporates her understanding of traditional Chinese medicine during her practice, which includes traditional acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, Korean hand acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture.
Even when she is busy, Dr. Lee remembers to schedule time for running, hiking, and pilates, as she is aware of the importance of first having a balanced lifestyle for herself in order to heal others through her treatments.
