Sarah is a graduate of a 300hr Massage Therapy program here in Calgary. She is well versed in deep tissue, therapeutic, sports and Swedish massage. She has a unique approach to massage therapy and believes the tissue responds best to slow and deep movements, allowing the patient and muscles to relax simultaneously. Her interest in weightlifting and other fitness activities allows her to have first and experience and knowledge of appropriate strengthening and stretching exercises to improve a wide variety of conditions/injuries. She initially gained an interest in the health care field after multiple MVA’s over the past 11 years that resulted in chronic back/neck pain. She has also suffered a partial knee dislocation, followed by severe tendonitis and SI joint dysfunction. All of which have been carefully treated with massage therapy, chiropractic care, and physiotherapy. This allows her to directly relate to various patients that walk through the door. Her goal is always to improve each patient’s pain with every treatment and have open communication on treatment success and future visits.
