About Me

Shea Karczewski graduated from Mount Royal University in 2018 and she has been practicing massage for 3 years.

Shea specializes in deep tissue work and therapeutic massage. By zeroing in on the muscles that are causing pain and limiting range of motion, Shea uses a variety of techniques to reduce the muscle tension. Shea is dedicated to giving stretches/exercises to her clients after treatment so that they can work on the issue themselves at home.

Shea also works in scar tissue reduction by using the Graston Technique. Scar tissue can build up on top of muscles or over a joint, limiting range of motion and restricting blood flow. Scar tissue can develop from muscle and joint overuse or over time from a chronic injury. With 6 different shaped and angled Graston tools, Shea can strip through and reduce the build up of scar tissue, affecting the alignment of the collagen fibres in the connective tissue.
