About Me

Dr. Tanner attended Mount Royal University (BSc) before obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2020 from the University of Western States in Portland, OR where he graduated with honours. Prior to his studies, Dr. Tanner played 4 years in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Seattle Thunderbirds, Swift Current Broncos and Kootenay Ice. Throughout his sports journey, he witnessed first-hand the many benefits of chiropractic care as it helped him deal with various nagging injuries.

Dr. Tanner has a special interest in sports injuries, concussions and the various applications of rehabilitative exercise to combat acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Tanner uses an evidence-based approach to build individualized and patient-centred treatment plans to help you get back to moving in a pain-free manner. In conjunction with traditional chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies and rehabilitative exercises, Dr. Tanner utilizes the most up to date technological advances in rehabilitation equipment such as Non-surgical Spinal Decompression (DRX 9000), MedX Medical Lumbar Rehabilitation Machine, BTE Multi-Cervical Unit Neck Rehabilitation Machine and Primus RS Extremity Rehabilitation Machine, Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy and LLLT (cold-laser) therapy.

When not in the office, Dr. Tanner stays active by weight training, Olympic lifting, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
